Merchants and Farmers Bank’s Personal Checking account has no excessive transaction fees. The minimum balance for this account without being charged a monthly fee is $500.00. A low balance fee of no more than $6.00 per month will be assessed if the balance falls below $500.00.

Imaged copies of your checks and deposit slips are returned in your monthly statement. You must deposit $100.00 to open this account.

Student Personal Checking
You must be a student. There is no monthly service charge on this account with the first 50 debit free. There is a $.10 fee on all debits above 50 debit items. You must deposit $100.00 to open this account. Imaged copies of your checks and deposit slips are returned in your monthly statement.

Senior Personal Checking
We offer a specially designed checking account to our customers that are 65 and over. There is no monthly service charge on this account with the first 50 debits free. There is a $.10 fee on all debits above 50 debt items.

You must deposit $100.00 to open this account. Imaged copies of your checks and deposit slips are returned in your monthly statement.

Interest Bearing Checking
Merchants and Farmers Bank’s NOW Account is a traditional interest-bearing checking account.  There is unlimited check writing with this account. If your minimum balance falls below $1500.00, there will be a $10.00 service charge.  You must deposit $ 1500.00 to open this account.  Imaged copies of your checks and deposit slips are returned in your monthly statement.
